Kaos explores the limits of human need for harmony.
This choreographic performance is at once a composition and a decomposition, revealing the hidden beauty of things.
The company wishes to expose humanity’s endless struggle to create a lawful order of limits and collectivities amidst chaos. Biblical imagery, Adam and Eve, and a modern-day Babel come alive on stage. Everyday objects are transformed, acquiring different qualities.
The performers’ bodies try to rid themselves of any sense of tempo, music and rhythm. Disparate musical genres, ranging from traditional music to electronica are ingeniously harmonised.
As in all of Griffón's choreographic works, Kaos allows audiences to become part of the piece, thus offering a highly experiential performance.
